Terms and conditions for web reservations

Policies for guided tours:

• All guided tours require advanced reservations.
• All tours require a minimum of 1 people.
• No reservations are made for entry to the reserve without a guide.
• Hours of operation for tours are: 10:00am to 3:00pm, with a minimum duration of 3 hours.
• Children under 4 years of age are free.
• Children between 4 – 12 years of age and active students through the age of 17 pay child rate.
• All children over 12 years of age who are not active students pay adult rate.

 

Original Canopy Tour Policies:

• Children under 5 years of age are not allowed at the Original Canopy Tour.
• Children between 5 – 12 years of age and active students through the age of 17 pay child rate.
• All children over 12 years of age who are not active students pay adult rate.
• The tour is subject to weather conditions allowing its operation.

 

Lodging Policies:

• Lodging packages are subject to availability and require advanced reservations.
• Availability may be verified via email to info@veraguarainforest.com or WhatsApp +506 8837-2482.
• Children under 4 years of age are free.
• Children between 4 – 12 years of age and active students through the age of 17 pay child rate.
• All children over 12 years of age who are not active students pay adult rate.

 

Payment terms:

• Payment for online reservations go through the Green Pay System.
• Once payment is complete, you will receive a reservation confirmation to your registered email address.
• Once onsite, the credit card used for payment and an identification to verify your identity may be requested.
• Onsite, you will receive a copy of the invoice for services provided, and a signature will be requested.

 

Cancellation Policies:

• All cancellations need to be requested in writing to the email address info@veraguarainforest.com.
• No penalty for cancellations received within 7 days before the visit date.
• Cancellations received from 7 days up to 24 hours before the visit day will be charged 50% of the reservation value.
• Cancellations in the 24 hours prior to the visit or no-shows will be charged 100% of the reservation value.
• Veragua Rainforest does not reimburse monies once deposits have been received. For cancellations where a refund is applicable, a credit memo will be issued which may be applied towards future reservations.
• Money refunds will be made only when the number of people has been entered incorrectly on the online reservations platform and must be corrected; or when weather conditions do not allow the tour to be carried out.
• Refunds take approximately 15 to 22 business days.

 

Recommendations:

• Wear light clothing and comfortable closed walking shoes apt for rain.
• Bring an umbrella, poncho, or cape in case of rain.
• Bring insect repellent.
• Travel in your own social bubble.
• A mask is mandatory when visiting Veragua Rainforest.
• Be willing to have fun and explore!

 

COVID-19 Guidelines before your visit:

 

• The visitor must not arrive on site presenting any symptoms such as cough, throat pain, fever or difficulty breathing.
• If a visitor displays symptoms such as a fever of 99°F or higher, dry cough, difficulty breathing, among others, they will not be allowed access to the park.
• Masks are mandatory, if you do not have one, you may purchase one at the park.
